Individuals and organizations join ISHIB to be part of an organization whose mission is to improve the health and life expectancy of ethnic minorities and to eliminate racial and ethnic health disparities. Specifically, ISHIB provides accredited programs to health professionals with advance care information to decrease the instances of cardiovascular disease and related disorders.
ISHIB members include: medical institutions, physician practices, medical researchers, and healthcare professionals from a variety of fields including but not limited to cardiology, nephrology, epidemiology, pharmacology, nursing, nutrition, and internal medicine.
